We specialize in Canadian commercial real estate which provides long-term value to our investors. Our approach to creating risk-adjusted returns and recurring cash distributions for clients is guided by our Return to Core strategy, which prioritizes small to mid-size properties with strong value enhancement potential. By concentrating on comparatively smaller assets, our investors benefit from a well-balanced portfolio that is highly diversified across all sectors and regions of Canada. We further improve our investment performance with an effective acquisition strategy; Canadian Urban’s extensive industry relationships enable us to complete a large portion of our acquisitions (~40%) on an ‘off-market’ basis.

The Canadian Urban 7 Fund (“CU7”) is an Open-Ended Pooled LP, designed for investors seeking the stability of income-producing commercial real estate. CU7 is a fully seeded Fund that includes a diversified portfolio of Core and Core Plus properties. Currently appraised at $385M with assets located from Vancouver to Halifax, the portfolio has generated 16.7% IRR including 5.1% cash yield since 2011. CU7 provides a unique opportunity to participate in an active, income-producing Fund based upon Canadian real assets.
