Canadian Urban Limited is proud to announce that 600 Cochrane in Markham, Ontario, has achieved LEED® Platinum Status. This is a demonstration of leadership as it is currently the only LEED® Platinum status office building in Markham.

600 Cochrane is a five-storey, 100,161 square foot Class A office building situated in a well-established office park in the Greater Toronto Area. Constructed in 2001, the building features an appealing glass curtain wall and a highly functional and desirable floor plate. 600 Cochrane proudly commits to sustainable environmental practices contributing to this achievement.

“Congratulations to Canadian Urban Limited for achieving LEED v4.1 Platinum. This recertification for 600 Cochrane demonstrates a true commitment to innovation. In under four years, this project has almost doubled its previous LEED score, with the project team taking full advantage of LEED v4.1’s streamlined documentation process and focus on building performance to achieve platinum standing.” Mark Hutchinson, Vice President of Green Building Programs at the Canada Green Building Council (CaGBC)
