The Board of Directors is please to announce that Alex Klip has been appointed President of Canadian Urban Limited.
Mr. Klip established the Toronto branch of Canadian Urban Limited (CU) in 1997 and is a director and shareholder of CU. Over the years, he has held a variety of executive roles, most recently Executive Vice President.
Supported by a six-member Board of Directors, Mr. Klip will be responsible for the development and implementation of strategic plans, and will provide leadership and guidance to the Investment Management Team.
Mr. Klip’s career in real estate spans 21 years, and a variety of roles in the analysis, acquisition and development of real estate investment platforms.January 2010

Real estate investment management group, Canadian Urban Limited, announces that Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Ken Poholko will take his retirement as of December 1, 2009.Mr. Poholko’s responsibilities will be managed by a restructured Investment Team. Key changes include the appointments of Mr. Mike Wolsey to the position of Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Ian Woychuk to Senior Asset Manager, and Ms. Miha Faryon to Controller.
The Board of Directors along with the entire Canadian Urban team wish to thank Ken for his 25 years of dedicated service, and would like to wish him a long and happy retirement.
