Alex Klip, MBA President Mr. Klip established the Toronto branch of Canadian Urban Limited in 1997 to manage and expand the company's investment activities in central and eastern Canada. Since then, he has held positions of increasing responsibility within the company. In 2010, Mr. Klip was promoted to the position of President of Canadian Urban Limited. Supported by a six-member Board of Directors, Mr. Klip leads the company's Investment Management team and provides leadership to position the company at the forefront of our industry. He is responsible for strategic planning to advance the company's mission and objectives and to promote revenue, profitability and growth as an organization. Mr. Klip is a Director and Shareholder of Canadian Urban Limited. Mr. Klip's career in real estate commenced 21 years ago with Greiner Pacaud Management Associates where he was responsible for identifying and evaluating investment opportunities and managing a diversified portfolio of properties in central and western Canada. From 1991 to 1997, he was part of the Met-Fin Group where he was Manager of Acquisitions. In this role he implemented a national acquisition program for a real estate mutual fund and participated in its conversion to a REIT. As well he restructured a number of real estate limited partnerships. Mr. Klip holds an MBA from the University of Toronto. |

David E. Rostrup, BA Executive Vice President, Western Canada Mr. Rostrup brings over 34 years experience in real estate brokerage and management. He is responsible for identification, acquisition, and disposition of properties in western Canada. Prior to joining Canadian Urban in 1989, Mr. Rostrup was a partner in a real estate consulting brokerage and property management company, and has extensive leasing experience. Mr. Rostrup holds a BA from the University of Alberta. |

Ian Woychuk, CFASenior Vice President, National Asset Manager
Mr. Woychuk is responsible for the research and analysis department for Canadian Urban’s Western Canadian portfolio, and is actively involved in the real estate acquisition program and financing functions within the Western
Canadian office.
Prior to joining Canadian Urban, Mr. Woychuk held a position in the investment sales group of a national commercial real estate brokerage, and was primarily responsible for investment modeling and underwriting.
Mr. Woychuk holds a Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) charter. In 1999 he received his Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Alberta, majoring in Business Economics and Law.

Onita Blankenfeldt, MBA
Senior Vice President, Marketing & Client Relations
As Senior Vice President, Marketing & Client Relations, Ms. Blankenfeldt is responsible for business development activities, client relationship management, corporate marketing, and corporate communication. She is directly responsible for the raising of monies for CU's upcoming closed-end real estate investment pool: CU Real Property (7) LP.
Formerly, Ms. Blankenfeldt was Senior Vice President, Marketing, at Meridea, a multi-national software corporation based in Europe.
Ms. Blankenfeldt has an MBA from the Helsinki School of Economics and Business Administration in Helsinki, Finland.
Tilda Ferguson
Vice President, Asset Management
Ms. Ferguson heads up the Western Canadian Asset Management function. She has the overall responsibility for the asset management, property management, leasing and development for approximately three million square feet of industrial, retail and office properties, and over 2500 multi-family residential units. Prior to this role, Ms. Ferguson has held several key senior roles with Canadian Urban over the past 23 years.
Michael Wolsey
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Wolsey contributes over 16 years experience to the finance department of Canadian Urban and is a member of the Investment Team. He is responsible for the financial and accounting activities of the company, subsidiaries and
client accounts.
Mr. Wolsey ensures corporate affairs are in order regarding items of finance, accounting, auditing, banking, insurance, legal liability as well as the development, monitoring and regular reporting of the company’s performance.
Mr. Wolsey’s responsibilities include ensuring high standards of reporting and audit requirements are maintained in a manner consistent with those required by the fiduciary nature of CU’s client trust accounts. Additionally, he is the Supervisor of the accounting group and is instrumental in the acquisition and
disposition process.
Mr. Wolsey joined Canadian Urban in 1994.

Linda Tait, MBA
Vice President
As a key member of CU's Investment Team Ms. Tait is responsible for the analysis of new and existing investments, and the operation and continuous active management of CU's portfolio in Central Canada
Prior to joining CU in 2004, Ms. Tait was a Senior Account Manager with a Canadian investment manager, and was actively involved with the cash flow modeling leading up to the launch of a Canadian REIT, as well as MD&A reporting and ongoing investment analysis post IPO. Prior to this, Ms. Tait was a Financial Analyst with Oxford Properties and was engaged in cash flow modeling of various joint venture projects. She received a Masters of Business Administration from the Schulich School of Business at York University in 1999, with a dual concentration in Real Property and Finance.

Mihaela Faryon, CGA
Controller
As a member of our Finance Department, Mrs. Faryon is responsible for all administrative accounting functions and disbursements. Mrs. Faryon is a Chartered General Accountant with over 12 years experience and over 7 years with Canadian Urban Limited.

Len Klausner
Director of Leasing
As the Director of Leasing, Mr. Klausner is responsible for all leasing opportunities, including retail, office and industrial properties. Prior to joining Canadian Urban Limited, Mr. Klausner was a Retail Broker at the major real estate development company, D.T.Z. Barnicke. Mr. Klausner received his Bachelor of Commerce from the University of British Columbia.

Sean Demsky, MSc.Pl.
Associate, Asset Management & Analysis
As a member of our investment team, Mr. Demsky is responsible for managing an active real estate portfolio and conducting financial analyses on new investments as well as existing properties. Prior to joining Canadian Urban Limited, Mr. Demsky was a Senior Real Estate Analyst and Sales Representative with Cushman & Wakefield LePage’s Investment Sales group in Toronto. Prior to this position, he worked in New York City as Vice President of the New York City Economic Development Corporation’s Asset Management Department. He has over ten years of commercial real estate experience.
Mr. Demsky holds a Master of Science Degree in Urban and Economic Planning from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of British Columbia.

David N. Lopatka, B.Ed., AACI, P.App
Senior Real Estate Analyst
As Senior Real Estate Analyst, Mr. Lopatka is responsible for the ongoing analysis of Canadian Urban’s acquisition, disposition and leasing programs.
Prior to joining Canadian Urban, Mr. Lopatka was a Commercial Appraiser for Gettel Appraisals Ltd. where his duties included the preparation and completion of a variety of appraisal and leasing reports, as well as various valuation assignments.
In 2006, Mr. Lopatka received his AACI, P.App designation from the Appraisal Institute of Canada.
Mr. Lopatka holds a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Alberta. He also holds an Urban and Land Economics Diploma from the University of British Columbia.
